Claude Code adoption in your company
Your engineering team with a copilot that actually reasons.

Claude Code Adoption for businesses in Guadalajara and Mexico
Claude Code is not just a more sophisticated autocomplete. It's an agent that reasons over your entire repository, runs terminal commands, edits multiple files in a coordinated way and understands tasks at the feature level — not the line level. That changes how your engineers work and, done right, how much your team delivers.
At WITS we guide Mexican companies through enterprise adoption of Claude Code. We don't sell you licenses — we help you integrate it properly into your engineering culture: technical setup, templates for your repos, real productivity metrics, governance, role-based training and an internal champions program that sustains adoption after we leave.
We work side by side with your CTO, technical leads and the pilot squad. Adoption takes 8-16 weeks depending on the size of the organization. Your team ends up with real skills — not courses watched —, comparable before/after metrics and its own playbook to keep scaling.
4 proven steps, from discovery to production
- Step 01
Technical assessment
We map your stack, languages, monorepos, CI/CD and your team's real pain points. We define a productivity baseline and the KPIs we're going to move.
- Step 02
Pilot in one squad
4-6 weeks with a team of 4-8 engineers: setup, best practices, prompt templates, workflows for your repo. Metrics week by week.
- Step 03
Scaled rollout
Playbooks per area, governance, enterprise access, SSO integration and usage policies. Rollout to the rest of the organization based on pilot data.
- Step 04
Training and continuous improvement
Role-based workshops, internal champions, an internal community of practice, adoption dashboards and quarterly reviews to optimize ROI.
Where claude code applies
- Legacy migration: refactoring old codebases with Claude Code executing coordinated changes across hundreds of files
- Feature velocity: teams shipping 2-3x more PRs per sprint while maintaining quality
- Faster onboarding: new developers productive in days, not weeks, with Claude Code as a technical buddy
- Test coverage: automatic generation and maintenance of unit and integration tests
- Living documentation: technical docs updated alongside the code, not afterwards
- Assisted code review: early detection of bugs, security smells and design issues before the PR

Honest about where it doesn't apply
Claude Code is not the answer when your organization lacks a mature engineering culture — repos without tests, without CI, without structured code review. Nor when the real problem is management, not technical: teams without clear goals don't improve because you give them a more powerful tool. If that's the case, we say so and propose organizing the operation first.
What we get asked most
What is the real difference between Claude Code and GitHub Copilot?
Copilot autocompletes lines. Claude Code plans complete features, runs in the terminal, edits multiple files in a coordinated way and integrates with your stack via MCP. For atomic tasks Copilot is fine; for real agentic work (refactors, migrations, multi-file debugging) Claude Code is several levels above.
How long does enterprise adoption take?
Pilot in one squad: 4-6 weeks. Full rollout to a mid-sized organization (50-200 engineers): 12-16 weeks. Companies with 500+ developers: 4-6 months with distributed champions. Always with hard productivity metrics per phase.
Does it work in large monorepos or with legacy code?
Yes. Claude Code handles repos with millions of lines with the right combination of CLAUDE.md, subagents for exploration and MCP servers connected to your internal tools. Legacy adoption is usually where ROI shows up fastest.
What about intellectual property and code data?
Anthropic offers enterprise plans with guaranteed no-training and data residency. We design the usage policy with you: which repos can use Claude Code, which ones require self-hosted alternatives, what sensitive information stays out of the context.
How do we measure the ROI of adoption?
We compare DORA metrics before/after: cycle time, PR throughput, time to production, defect escape rate. We weigh them against the cost of licenses + WITS hours. Mid-sized Mexican companies typically see payback in 3-5 months.
Does it replace developers?
No. It amplifies the good ones and widens the gap with the mediocre ones. Proper adoption frees your seniors' time for architecture, mentoring and genuinely hard work — not for typing boilerplate.
